I just knew what was going to happen Tuesday night. Believe me, I was hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. As far as me and the other 8,000 of Brandy & Maks fans go - they should have won!! Not only because we're die hard fans, but we also know that Brandy was making great strides week after week!! Only a few short weeks ago I thought that BranDMC were going to go home with the Mirror Ball Trophy, until some of the "better" dancers started dropping off one at a time!
At the beginning of this season I said: "I appreciate where Bristol and her family are coming from... as far as a change of scenery, but she is opening up she and her family to some serious ridicule!" Look at the whole "Booing in the ballroom" incident! So many viewers, (mostly haters of Sarah Palin) swore up and down that the "booing" was at her. Those of us who are REAL fans of the show knew that the booing was toward the judges and their "8" scores given to Jennifer & Derek. Like Carrie-Ann, I agreed - 8's are really good scores for the first couple of weeks!
I'm not sure if this is the Sanjiah effect (American Idol). There was this whole push to keep the poor guy and his lack of talent in the competition - it seems as if the same thing is happening with Bristol. SOMEHOW each week she is getting pushed through! Many people are planning on the Republicans or whatnot - but I'M a Republican and I gave my votes to the BEST dancers!!
If Bristol DOES win this year, I will most-likely be REALLY upset....however, I will continue to watch the show! Hopefully, Maks will return with another great partner and will finally win!!
